Prindërit e saj nuk duan që ta lënë Shivanin të lidhur pas një guri, por nuk kanë zgjidhje tjetër, pasi u duhet të shkojnë në punë.

Ata kanë edhe një fëmijë tjetër, 3 vjeç e gjysmë, por ai nuk mund të kujdeset për motrën më të vogël. Nëse ajo nuk qëndron e lidhur, vogëlushja mund të dalë në rrugët e Indisë, por kështu i rrezikohet jeta.

“E lidhim vajzën në mënyrë që ajo të mos dalë në rrugë. Djali nuk kujdeset dot për të, pasi është vetëm 3 vjeç e gjysmë. Qyteti është i mbushur plot me makina, nuk kam mundësi tjetër. Këtë e bëj për sigurinë e saj”, tha nëna 23-vjeçare, Sarta Kalara.
